Get ready for an event to remember with Kari’s Kritterz!

 

We're bringing the barnyard entertainment straight to you – no stress, all smiles! Your guests of all ages will enjoy meeting our barnyard buddies. You can pet and interact with them all. Don't forget the pony rides!

The mobile petting zoo began operating in 2020 by Kari Gruner. It started years before as a desire to have homegrown food and rather quickly turned into collecting animals instead. She has always had a soft spot for "special" animals since her childhood.

"I was born in Sandpoint, was always obsessed with horses and loved visiting friends farm animals. Living in town we had a couple cats and dogs, and for a short time we had bunnies & guinea pigs which I wanted to build extravagant play yards and rooms for. As an adult, I got as many animals as I could manage. The desire never went away and I want to spend all my time playing with the Kritterz and raising my kids on a farm." -Kari

The "unwanteds" slowly found their way to the farm from a one eyed mini horse, blind bunny, deaf pig, a toothless horse and more. The animals were always shared with friends and strangers on trips to town and that turned into public events to help support the animals. "The joy that comes from sharing them with people fills our hearts (and the animals love it too!) Every animal has a story to tell, some were born here and some fell into our arms. They love to go for a ride and visit people, often volunteering to hop in any open doors."

 Kari and her crew have a true love of all living Kritterz and enjoy sharing the delight they bring with others.
